VIDEO: Community Designs Presents Newport Gardens Early Years Centre
Community starts from a very young age and the building in this month’s episode of Community Designs has the smaller members of the community at the heart of their modern and inclusive design. In this episode, Monique drops by Newport Gardens Early Years Centre to speak to Kate Reed, Sue Zacharis, and Leonie Hede about the importance of this establishment to local families.
Taking into account the special needs of their little clients, this early years centre takes a seamless approach to the journey of childhood, from providing facilities for new parents, that then can transition into early learning care and then onto the primary school located opposite using visual and structural queues to allow for the community to provide support in ‘life’s links’.
