DesignBUILD 2021 Show Announcement

Oct 12, 2020 DesignBUILD News

In response to continuing uncertainty in terms of public gatherings and ongoing domestic and international travel restrictions, we have made the difficult decision to reschedule the May 2021 edition of DesignBUILD. The event will now take place from 11 to 13 October 2021, in Sydney at the ICC Sydney.

It has become increasingly clear through conversations with our partners, exhibitors and key stakeholders that there is still a lack of clarity in terms of what the first half of 2021 will look like from a business perspective, and in our judgement it was in the best interests of all parties that we postpone the event.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this rescheduling may have caused and thank all our key stakeholders for their continued support and understanding. Our focus now shifts to delivering an even stronger event in Q4 of 2021. There’s never been a more important time for togetherness and solidarity and we very much look forward to welcoming you to the event next October.

While we may not have been able to host a physical event this year as planned, we know that the building & construction industry is set to play an essential role in rebuilding the national economy and we are excited that we are hosting our first Built Environment Summit, on October 20th. This new virtual event will help connect leading built environment professionals, government policy makers and market experts to build a roadmap to recovery and pave the way for future construction and infrastructure development, outside of the traditional exhibition format.

In the meantime, DesignBUILD will continue to be a leader within the industry and provide platforms where you can unite, encourage and support each other during these unprecedented times.
