Buildsoft’s Cubit – thinking outside the box

For a technology company, productivity and systemisation are integral in servicing Australia’s construction industry. And the ability to physically showcase new products in person offers a unique experience above and beyond creating brand authority solely through digital media.

Buildsoft is one of the leading Australian technology companies who understand this value. The strong and respected Australian company creates solutions that set industry standards, and which are taught in universities and colleges across the world.

At DesignBUILD this year, they showcased Cubit – their innovative estimating solution.

Construction solutions is a competitive marketplace, but showcasing innovation at a trade show like DesignBUILD is giving technology companies an advantage to remain relevant in this space.

“Being able to interact with our customers in this way helps us to make new connections as well as reinforce the strong connections we already have with our customers. It helps to show them who we are as a company, beyond the benefits our software solutions offer,” Jason Hook says, Sales & Marketing Manager at Buildsoft.

Their newest product, Cubit, is designed with a wide range of construction professionals in mind. A natural estimating solution that is both flexible and well-structured, the software application seamlessly integrates take-off quantities to an estimate sheet for an all-in-one solution.

It’s perfect for estimators, quantity surveyors, contractors and subcontractors who want their information to be immediately available, exactly when they need it – which makes this solution three times faster than other software packages.

“One of the great things about Cubit is that it’s so easy to use, and that makes it very easy to demonstrate to our customers. All we need is a computer or a laptop to show just how effective our software is in improving the way our customers do their estimating,” Hook says.

Bringing Cubit to DesignBUILD in 2017 also provides Buildsoft with a direct avenue to connect face-to-face with their audience, even prior to the event.

“Connecting with our customers beforehand and inviting them to see us at the show allows us to start conversations with them before they even arrive at our stand,” he says.

As a result, Buildsoft can build their brand story through their passionate staff, who are more than happy to chat with customers as they share personal demonstrations and unique advice to show why Cubit is essential to their customers’ success.

“Exceptional experiences are vital to the success of a customer’s journey with us. We ensure our stand has ample space for customers to interact with our software,” he says.

But building a unique and attractive trade show stand is only part of the job – it is what happens afterwards that’s equally as important. The key to Buildsoft’s strong customer relationships is their output of content, of which DesignBUILD plays a part, as well as the quality of their products to ensure the greatest engagement.

“We have plenty of customers that tell us each day that our products have helped them achieve their business goals,” Hook says.
